I’m now with US Fish and Wildlife Service, supporting partnerships primarily via the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program with the SC Ecological Field Services Office, and working as a partner biologist (Farm Bill biologist) with the SC Natural Resources Conservation Service in the upstate region (in Newberry, SC). I loved the botany/ecology work with the Forest Service in Marlinton, WV, and being in the mountains, but am hoping this will be a better fit with my skills and interests. In any case, I still will not be doing any consulting for profit, but I hope to get back to adding little blogs about the critters and plants I encounter (and maybe even one last Morocco blog from my visits to other areas). I would also like to add to the portfolio. I’m always happy to share advice, or identify plants or arthropods (if I can), so please don’t hesitate to reach out. I stayed at an AirBnB while visiting Marlinton and loved how the host signed her notes, “Joy in the journey!” Happy wanderings…
